Alpharetta’s history traces back to the resettlement of the Cherokee Indians in the 1830’s. Today, Forbes lists it as “the 6th fastest growing city”, “one of the friendliest places to live” and “a top place to move”. Residents can live in newer swim & tennis neighborhoods, country club homes or urban neighborhoods. The growing downtown area is used as a hub for music, art and festivals while boasting an eclectic mix of eateries and shops.

Alpharetta is a small city with its share of green space. Wills Park has baseball fields, tennis courts, a swimming pool, a dog park, disc golf, playgrounds and a 50-acre equestrian center. Schools

The Fulton County Public School System has been rated “One of the Top 100 School Districts in Places You Can Afford” by Money Magazine, and is one of Georgia’s largest charter school system. Alpharetta Elementary offers a challenging curriculum and has been awarded the “ENERGY Star for Schools” award. Newsweek lists Alpharetta High School as one of the “top public high schools in America”. The schools also won four awards at the 2014 Southeast Regional EMMY Awards.
